First Entry Ever

First blog entry ever. It remains to be seen if this thing will fly...



Here is some useless news...Today they changed the sound that warns people on the subway platform of the coming train... It is no longer a polite dinging sound, now it plays a full song, an obnoxious song at that. That is the most excting news I have. I guess it is fitting that I finally got around to writing about the trip, it is 6 months in and now under a year to go. Some days I count down the weeks and months, other days I don`t care. It is really touch and go.

Work is not the best. Right now they are trying to bully us into doing kids reportcards on our breaks because they are short of staff. There are a thousand reasons why NOVA is short of staff, maybe doing kids reports in unpaid breaks is one of them hmmm.

The weather is starting to cool down and there is a winter chill in the air. The leaves will start to change soon and Amy and I have plans to get out of the city for some hiking and leaf viewing. Leaf viewing is like cherry blossom viewing here, a pursuit not to be taken lightly. It should be interesting to see what happens.
